Understanding your Medicare options has never been more important. With so many terms, deadlines, and plan options most people have a difficult time navigating the system...that’s where we come in.


We provide you with one on one guidance starting with the basics and ending in a plan that fits your needs, budget, and lifestyle. As licensed Brokers, we proudly represent multiple carriers in New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona, which allows us to find plans that meet your individual needs. Medicare plans vary based on your state/county of residence so each clients’ plan must be location specific.

What is Medicare?

It is the U.S. Federal Government Health Insurance Program for:


  • People 65 years of age and older.

  • Some people with disabilities under the age 65.

  • People with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or transplant)

Four Parts of Medicare


Part A: Hospital Insurance 

  • Most people do not have to pay for Part A.

Part B: Medicare Insurance

  • Most people pay a monthly for Part B depending on income.

Part C: Medicare Advantage Plans

  • Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurance companies as an alternative to Original Medicare often without benefits.

Part D: Prescription Drug Coverage

  • Part D plans are offered by private companies to provide coverage for prescription drug costs; plans are government subsidized and regulated.

Medicare Advantage Plans
  • Medicare approved plans offered by private insurance companies.


  • Each uses a specific type of network (HMO, PPO, SNP


  • Most plans include prescription drug coverage as a built-in benefit.


  • Many include extra benefits such as vision and hearing that traditional Medicare does not cover.


  • Set benefits including copays/ coinsurances for medical services.

Medicare Supplement Insurance/ Medigap Plans


  • Medicare supplement policies fill in gaps in Original Medicare coverage such as co-pays and deductibles for hospitalization, doctor visits, and other medical services.​​

  • Although these plans may cost more than Medicare Advantage plans, after paying the premium, there are few if any extra out-of-pocket expenses depending on the plan chosen.
